What Dipnet does
Dipnet places several limit buys under the current price of an xStock on Solana, so a drop gets bought in steps instead of at one guessed price. You choose the stock, how deep the rungs sit and how much USDC goes in. The app builds one Jupiter limit order per rung, you sign them all in one wallet prompt, and from then on Jupiter fills each rung when the price comes down to it.
Dipnet is a website, not a protocol. It has no contract and holds no money. Every order belongs to your wallet and lives in Jupiter's limit order program.
The net
A net is a list of rungs. Each rung has a depth under the price at the moment you cast it, for example 3%, 6%, 10% and 15% for the classic shape, and a share of the USDC. Shallow puts the rungs at 2 to 8%, deep at 5 to 30%, and you can edit any depth or add rungs up to eight.
The USDC is spread evenly or heavier toward the bottom (weights 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 and so on), so a deeper drop buys more. The app shows the price of each rung, the shares it would get and the average entry if every rung fills. Each rung needs at least 5 USDC, Jupiter's minimum.
Scout
Scout reads every stock's last six months of daily closes from public market data and its xStock price on Jupiter, every five minutes. For each it works out four things: how far the xStock sits under the stock's highest close of the last 30 sessions; how big a normal day is (the standard deviation of daily returns over 60 sessions); the gap between the xStock and the stock's last regular-session price, which matters while NYSE is closed and xStocks keep trading on Solana; and the 14-session RSI.
The dip score (0 to 10) is the drawdown and any discount to the last NYSE price measured in normal days, plus a little for an RSI under 35. Scout's net puts rungs at 0.75, 1.5, 2.5 and 4 normal days under the price, never shallower than 1%, and spreads heavier toward the bottom when the score is 5 or more. A calm fund gets a shallow net, a volatile stock a deep one. The score describes the dip; it does not predict where the price goes.
Dipnet Ledger
Dipnet Ledger is Dipnet's own Solana program, 1.4 KB, with one instruction. When you cast a net with "Record on chain" ticked, the wallet prompt carries one more small transaction: the net's stock, rung depths, USDC per rung and Jupiter order addresses. The program checks that the record is signed by the wallet it names and writes it to the transaction log. It stores nothing, holds no funds, takes no fee and cannot touch your orders; the record costs only the normal network fee. Live nets reads these records back and shows each rung as open or closed from its order account.
How a rung fills
Each rung is a Jupiter Trigger order that pays a fixed amount of USDC for at least a fixed amount of the xStock: USDC divided by the rung's price. It can therefore only fill at that price or lower. Jupiter's keepers watch the market and execute the swap through Jupiter routing when the rate is reachable; the shares go straight to your wallet.
A rung either fills or waits. If the price never reaches it, nothing happens and the USDC stays in the order until you cancel it or it expires.
Cancelling and expiry
My nets lists your open rungs by stock. Cancel one rung or the whole net; Jupiter builds the cancel transaction, you sign it, and the USDC of every cancelled rung returns to your wallet together with the order account's SOL rent. You can set an expiry of 7 or 30 days when casting; an expired rung stops filling and is withdrawn by cancelling it.
Fees and costs
Dipnet charges nothing. Jupiter takes 0.1% of each filled order. Opening an order account costs a small amount of SOL as rent, returned when the order closes, plus normal Solana network fees. Keep a few thousandths of a SOL per rung in the wallet.
Stocks
Dipnet lists 18 xStocks with liquid markets on Jupiter: NVDAx, GOOGLx, AAPLx, MSFTx, METAx, AMZNx, TSLAx, SPCXx, PLTRx, COINx, MSTRx, CRCLx, HOODx, GMEx, MCDx, SPYx, QQQx, GLDx. xStocks are tokens issued by Backed that track the share price of the company or fund; prices on the site are Jupiter's live USD prices.
Risks
A dip can keep going. A net buys on the way down. If the stock keeps falling after the last rung, the shares you bought are worth less than you paid.
Fills are not guaranteed. A rung fills only when the market reaches it with enough liquidity and a keeper executes it. A quick wick may pass a rung without filling it.
Around the clock. xStocks trade on Solana at all hours while the stock market is closed, so the price can move on thin liquidity at night or on weekends, and fills can happen then.
Third parties. Orders depend on Jupiter's limit order program and API, and xStocks on Backed. This site is new and unaudited.
